Here, the deep sand and thick bush doesn’t slow down the spirit of adventure that the Maputo National Park offers. Without a big effort, in our specialized vehicles, you will find the vast open areas, where Elephants refresh themselves with long mud baths.

Huge freshwater lagoons nourish a great variety of birds, host the laziness of the Hippos and Crocs, and complete the scenery for the jumps and runs of several Antelope species.

A sky with millions of stars will be the starter for the delicious meals prepared by our Chef. The fire will bring light to the darkness of the night… and when you wake up from a quiet sleep, you will find out that here, the African savannah meets the Indian Ocean.

Itinerary of Maputo National Park 3 days Safari

Day 1

• Our guide will pick you up early morning at your accommodation (06.30 AM). While crossing the brand new Maputo – Catembe bridge, you can enjoy a Light Breakfast, on-board of our vehicle.
• Inside the Park you will discover the unique aspects of the wild and its magnificent ecosystems filled with rich and extraordinary Biomes. There will be a break for lunch in the wild.
• After lunch we will drive towards the camp area. Dinner at the camp with traditional African recipes prepared by our Chef, under the unique starry sky and a warm fire.

Day 2

• After breakfast we will go and discover the wonders of the Parks wildlife and landscapes. When we return to the camp you will sit back and have a sunset drink while our Chef prepares you dinner.

Day 3

• Breakfast at the camp. After lunch we will drive towards the Park gates and we should be back in Maputo around 4.30 Pm, where our guide will leave you at your accommodation.

RECOMENDATIONS

Maputo National Park is a wild place. We provide all the necessary equipment to enjoy a remote area with all the safety.

We recommend you bring along comfortable clothing with neutral colours. Please bring along closed shoes and a long sleeve shirt/fleece for the sunset period. A winter jacket is recommended during the dry season, when it is a bit colder (April to October). Hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are advisable;

We provide the possibility of taking an outside shower. Please bring your bathing suit for your comfort and privacy;

Mabeco Tours provides our valued guest with binoculars for the observation of wildlife. We encourage you to bring your preferred binoculars and also your photographic equipment, in order to capture the wonders of nature;
