The surfer expectation is to try waves that he never surfed before. The surfer expectation is to feel a pure, original and authentic lifestyle. These expectations are easy to correspond to, when we are in such a huge coastal Country such as Mozambique. These waves are Worldwide recognized but only known locally. Wake up in the morning, take a few steps and surf in the Indian Ocean is a very pure feeling; Sleep in tents with beds and have a Chef that prepares all the meals is a very original feeling; Being able to do all this in a place where we are are just a few minutes of observing wild animals is a very authentic feeling. For us, the surfer expectations are to be exceeded.
- Day 1 - The specialized guide will meet you early (05.30 AM) anywhere in Maputo. You can enjoy a light breakfast while we cross the brand new and comfortable bridge and tar road towards the South.
- On the way to the Reserve we will stop at the village of Salamanga where you will visit an Hindu Temple and a traditional bread factory.
- On the Reserve you will be able to observe the aspects of resident wildlife and their magnificent ecosystems. A lunch will be served in the bush.
- After lunch we will carry on towards Milibangalala, the beach area where we will camp. After we have arrived, our Staff will setup the Camp and you can either relax for the rest of the day or start to Surf. Dinner will be served by our Chef and overnight will be in semi luxury tents.
- You have all the free days to enjoy Surf and Add-ons. Our Chef will have breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared at the time you determine and the tents will be attended for cleaning and bed making everyday.
- On the last morning you can enjoy a good Surf. Our Staff will disassemble Camp and after lunch we will drive back to Maputo, where your guide will drop you at your accommodation. The Expected time of arrival is 6.30 Pm.

RECOMENDATIONS
- The road to Milibangalala (Catembe to Ponta do Ouro) is under construction. The speed limit is low and we might expect some detours due to the works. This might affect the expected time of arrival to the reserve;
- The ferry boat is a public service, therefore we do not control the schedule of the boats. In case of the ferry boat breaks down or delays, our guide, at his own discretion, will choose to either stay at the ferry and wait or use an alternate route (around the bay). In case of using the alternate option we will drive for 1.5 hours in a dirt road;
- A light breakfast will be served on board of our vehicle (French pastries, tea & coffee and juice). If you wish to complement your breakfast, ask your hotel/accommodation to prepare you a packed breakfast;
- Mabeco Tours will prepare you special meals in case you have any dietary requirements. Please provide us any requirements that you might have, as well as any allergies or medical conditions that we should be aware.
- We recommend you to bring along comfortable clothing with neutral colours. Please bring along closed shoes and a long sleeve shirt/fleece for the sunset period. A winter jacket is recommended during the dry season, when it is a bit colder (April to October). Hat, sunscreen and sunglasses is advisable;
- Mabeco Tours provides our valued guest with binoculars for the observation of wildlife. We encourage you to bring your preferred binoculars and also your photographic equipment, in order to capture the wonders of nature;
