Swaziland Cultural + Mlilwane sanctuary 2 days
A perfect program for families
Swaziland Cultural + Mlilwane sanctuary 2 days
We feed your curiosity and your secret desire to see some animal species very closely. Without the big predators nearby, you can walk with some of these animals, which observe you in a very quiet and calm way. The walk opens your appetite for variety. Among the artisanal manufacture of candles and art craft, you will taste the sweet flavours of Swaziland. When the evening comes you will realize that many animals feel protected and safe right next to your traditional Swazi beehive huts.
- (Ezulwini Valley) - The specialized guide will meet you early in the morning (05.30 Am) anywhere in Maputo. While following the journey towards Swaziland, you will be able to enjoy a light breakfast. Our guide will assist you with the transition process at the border. We will drive towards Ezulwini valley and the Cultural village of Mantenga. In the village you will watch a local dance performed by the local people and also have a chance to visit a Swazi typical homestead. We will visit a waterfall and also the candle factory and craft center. After having lunch in the House of fire, we will have a walk along its gardens, a great opportunity to see some interesting bird species. We will go to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, the place where we will be spending the night. After you get installed you can go for a sunset drink and explore a bit of this fantastic place, ideal for a nice walk to observe Antelopes. The dinner will be in a restaurant and overnight in traditional Swazi Beehive huts.
- (Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary) – After a good breakfast, we will drive along the Park and spot the great variety of Antelope Species around. We will go near Reillys Rock and go on a walk, where we will have the chance to observe the smallest Antelope Species in Southern Africa. Afterwards we will take a chance to go around the Camp area and relax, overlooking a waterhole, where many birds form concentrations for nesting and feeding. A lunch will be served in the restaurant. Afterwards we will depart towards the border with Mozambique. Estimated time of arrival will be at 6.30 PM, where your guide will drop you off at your accommodation.
